Distributing a Linux distribution can be hard. Especially when you have no budget.
There are many people who have lots of small free resources. It might be that free OpenShift account where your app is only taking 100M of your 1G quota. Or that 2 Gig dropbox account that you only have a few text files in. As we started looking around, we found that we had plenty of storage. It was just distributed across the global cloud. To harness that storage, we created Mini Mirror.
Mini Mirror breaks up a full distribution into smaller parts. You then distribute these smaller parts to the various free accounts with small quotas. When you do a “yum install” you don't hit one big repo, you hit 5 or 10 smaller repo's from all over the place.
